About Me
Hi! We’re Sam and Sophie, and we’re expecting our first baby later this year.
We’re currently in the process of moving into the area. As part of that move, we’re hoping to find a wonderful childminder who can become an important part of our family’s journey from the very beginning.
We’re a friendly, down-to-earth couple who value kindness, honesty and good communication. I work a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, while Sophie works Monday to Friday with a mixture of office and home working. We’re both looking forward to becoming first-time parents and want to find someone who will provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment where our little one can grow in confidence, learn through play and feel genuinely happy.
For us, choosing childcare isn’t just about finding someone to look after our child—it’s about finding someone we can build a trusting, long-term relationship with and who will become an important part of our child’s early years.
My Requirements
We’re looking for a warm, caring and experienced childminder who has availability for a baby from around the end of maternity leave (September/December 2027)
Because of my shift pattern, our childcare requirements follow an eight-week repeating rota, meaning we’ll need between one and four days of childcare each week rather than the same days every week. We can provide our schedule well in advance to help with planning.
We’re hoping to find someone who:
* Provides a safe, welcoming and nurturing home environment.
* Encourages learning through play, outdoor activities and age-appropriate experiences.
* Communicates openly and keeps us updated on how our child is getting on.
* Is happy to work with our repeating shift pattern where possible.
As first-time parents, finding the right person is incredibly important to us. We’d love someone who will care for our child as if they were one of their own, helping them feel secure, supported and excited to learn every day. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
