My Experience

I am a qualified practitioner with 9 years experience working in education and childcare. I completed my childcare apprenticeship in 2018 in a private nursery within the baby room and the pre-school room, and since qualifying, I have worked extensively with 1 and 2-year-olds. While in the private sector, I progressed through leadership roles, being promoted to Baby Room Team Leader before undertaking the responsibilities of Acting Deputy Manager. For the past 5 years, I have worked for West Lothian Council in the schools and nurseries - predominantly working 1-1 with children who display behavioural and emotional dysregulation, as well as gaining experience working with children with additional support needs. Since completing my apprenticeship, I have completed an undergraduate degree in Criminology and Law (BA Hons) and I currently study MSc Social Work where I am undertaking my first practice placement.

My Availability

Due to being on my practice placement through university, I am only available on weekends.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £20.00 per hour

My standard babysitting rate is £20 per hour. A higher rate may apply for short-notice bookings, multiple children (3+), or children requiring additional support. I am happy to discuss individual requirements and agree a suitable rate based on individual family needs.
