Qualified Teacher (PGCE) | 20+ Years' Childcare & EYFS Experience | Nanny & Tutor

I am a qualified teacher with a PGCE and over 20 years of experience working with children in childcare and educational settings. Throughout my career, I have primarily worked in private nurseries and nursery settings based on school sites, with experience supporting children from 1 to 13 years old through supply work.

I am passionate about helping children feel happy, safe, confident and supported. I am a caring, patient, reliable and trustworthy person who understands how important it is for children to have a warm, nurturing environment where they can learn, grow and develop at their own pace.

I have extensive experience in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and enjoy supporting children's development through play, exploration and age-appropriate activities. I can support children's communication and language, physical development, personal, social and emotional development, early literacy and early maths.

As a qualified teacher, I can also provide educational support for older children, including reading, phonics, English, maths, homework and school projects. I enjoy making learning fun and engaging while helping children build their confidence and develop a positive attitude towards learning.

I have experience working with children from 1 to 13 years old and can adapt my approach to suit each child's individual age, personality, interests and needs.

I hold a current DBS check and a Paediatric First Aid qualification. I also have my own car and a full driving licence, so I am able to support families with school or nursery runs and taking children to activities and appointments, where required.

I am looking for opportunities to work with families who are seeking an experienced, caring and professional nanny or nanny/tutor. I would be particularly happy to support families who are looking for someone who can combine high-quality childcare with educational support and help with their children's learning and development.
