We are a warm, professional family living in a beautiful home in the countryside of West Norfolk with our wonderful young twin boys. Family life is important to us, and we're looking for someone who would enjoy becoming a valued part of it rather than simply filling a job.
Our home is set in peaceful rural surroundings with plenty of outdoor space, while still being within easy reach of King's Lynn, the North Norfolk coast, Cambridge and London by train. You'll have your own private accommodation, use of a car, and the freedom to enjoy everything this beautiful part of England has to offer.
We believe the best childcare comes from trust, kindness and mutual respect. We want whoever joins us to feel genuinely appreciated, have plenty of independence, and enjoy living here. My Childcare Requirements
We are looking for a live-in nanny or experienced childcare professional to help care for our young twin boys from September/October 2026.
The role is primarily focused on childcare and creating a happy, stimulating and secure environment for the children. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children, loves outdoor play, reading, crafts, cooking and encouraging curiosity through everyday activities.
Responsibilities include:
Providing loving, attentive day-to-day childcare.
Planning age-appropriate activities and outings.
Supporting routines, naps and mealtimes.
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children.
Nursery and school runs as they grow.
Children's laundry and keeping bedrooms and play areas organised.
Light household tasks related to the children only.
This is not a heavy housekeeping role. We are looking for someone whose primary focus is helping our boys thrive.
Our ideal candidate
We're looking for someone who is:
Warm, calm and emotionally intelligent.
Experienced caring for babies or young children.
Organised and able to use their own initiative.
A confident driver (or willing to drive in the UK).
Happy living in a beautiful rural location.
Looking for a long-term position (ideally two years or more).
Experience in childcare, Early Years education, teaching, nursing or similar would be an advantage, but the right personality is the most important quality.
