About Me
My name is Katie and I am a registered childminder with a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted. I am a mum of 3, a qualified nursery nurse and have over 20 years experience of working with children, mainly as a private nanny. I have 2 daughters aged 12 and 8 and a son age 6. I provide a fun,loving,home from home environment . As well as educational and fun activities at home we also go to local toddler groups, rhyme time, soft plays, parks and other outings in the holidays. I also provide home cooked, nutritious meals and snacks. We have a lovely well equipped large garden and are within walking distance to the local park and Woodlands.
My Experience
After gaining my NNEB (nursery nursing diploma) I worked in a day nursery for 2 years before moving on to be a private nanny. I thoroughly enjoyed nannying and have had various posts over the years looking after children of all ages, many who I still see.
I worked as a nanny for a holiday company for 4 years in both winter ski resorts and beach resorts. This led to me working as a private nanny in France for 2 ski seasons. I was also Head of Toddler Club one summer.
After having my second daughter I started childminding from home and have continued to do so since having my son in 2017.

My son has been going to Katie since October 2021 and he absolutely loves seeing Katie and her wonderful children. Katie always has activities for George to do each day, arts & crafts, baking, dog walks, toddler group, messy play...the list is exhaustive. George runs straight into Katie's each day and is always happy when I pick him up. She provides a diary so I know exactly what George has done each day, including what he has eaten etc. I also get photo updates of things that George has been doing each week too.
