About Me

I am 20 years old, in my spare time I enjoy playing football casually, gaming, and listening to music.

I have experience supporting children with SEND through both my family and my professional experience. This fuels my passion and love towards caring for and supporting those with SEND, behavioural difficulties, and those who benefit from a Trauma informed approach.

I thoroughly enjoy building positive relationships with children that enable them to feel comfortable, valued, and confident.

My Experience

I have worked in education supporting children with SEND since I was 17. I currently work as an Achievement Assistant within the SEND Team at a Mainstream Middle School in Redditch. I work with children ages between 9 - 13 that have SEND, SEMH, and Behavioural Challenges.

Alongside this, I work at a Holiday Club in Droitwich during the school holidays supporting children with a range of needs. I am a Senior Holiday Club Practitioner and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Across both roles, I use a child centred, Trauma informed, PACE Approach to ensure that every child, regardless of their age or level of need, feels happy, safe, understood and cared for.

My Qualifications

Level 3 SEND Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship (BeReady) - Grade: Merit
Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant SEND Pathway Apprenticeship (BeReady) - ONGOING.
TeamTeach PBT Level 1.

My Availability

During school term time, I am unavailable Monday-Friday between 8am and 3:30pm due to work.

My standard rate is £12 per hour although this may vary depending upon the level of care required.
