Amazing long term childminder

We’ve been with our childminder since my daughter Maia was 5 and my son Ru was 3, and they’re now 10 and 7. I honestly couldn’t imagine them going anywhere else.

They absolutely love going every single time. They always come home full of stories about what they’ve been up to, whether it’s trips to the soft play, skate park or local parks, playing games, learning new things, or spending time with Dawid, who has become one of their best friends over the years. They still rave about her homemade Polish chicken soup too!

What I really appreciate is how professional she is. Everything is always clear and organised. She keeps contracts up to date and always gives me a paper copy covering things like child illness, what happens if she’s unwell, fees, holiday arrangements and everything else you need to know. I think everything is explained fairly and reasonably, so there are never any surprises.

She’s also really clear about school runs. She lets parents know exactly what time she needs to leave in the mornings so everyone can make sure children are dropped off on time. That’s completely reasonable to me because one family being late shouldn’t make other children late for school.

The biggest compliment I can give is that I trust her completely. Leaving your children with someone is one of the hardest things to do, but I’ve never had to worry. She’s cared for my children as they’ve grown up over the last five years, and they’ve been so happy and well looked after the entire time.

I genuinely wouldn’t trust anyone else with my kids. If you’re looking for someone who is kind, reliable, professional and truly cares about the children she looks after, I couldn’t recommend her highly enough. Thank you for everything you’ve done for our family over the years. ❤️
