My Experience
As an Outdoor Activity Instructor, I gained extensive experience leading and supervising
children and groups through a range of outdoor activities while ensuring a safe,
enjoyable, and inclusive environment. I developed strong leadership, communication,
and organisational skills by planning sessions, delivering clear instructions, managing
group dynamics, and adapting activities to suit different ages and abilities. I was
responsible for carrying out risk assessments, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all
health and safety procedures were followed. Through this role, I built confidence in
working under pressure, solving problems quickly, supporting participants to overcome
challenges, and encouraging teamwork, resilience, and personal development. My
experience has enabled me to create positive experiences for participants while
maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
