Part Time Nanny Job in London
About Me
I'm a single mum with a 23-month-old son who attends nursery all day Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. He's an energetic and curious little one. He has allergies, so I need someone vigilant about reading labels but not anxious about them. I'm looking for a confident nanny who can take charge of his wellbeing, encourage his personality, offer novel games and ideas, and explain boundaries clearly without being over-cautious. She should be willing to pitch in with laundry, dishwasher, and tidying up after him. Most importantly, I need someone with lots of energy to match his bouncy nature. I'm also looking for someone who loves cooking and is happy to batch cook her own recipes and mine.
My Requirements
I'm looking for a Part Time Nanny, Live In or Live Out. My son needs 20 hours per week as standard, but I need someone flexible who can increase hours at short notice when needed. This could suit a student. Ideally someone who is happy to stay over occasionally — ad-hoc Saturday nights into Sunday mornings and sometimes so I can lie in or stay out late. There might be occasional fun trips, so you should like travel and adventure, but this will be infrequent. I'm working in climate change and enjoy intelligent conversation, so someone with things to bring to a conversation would be great. It doesn't have to be a career nanny, but they need to be confident with toddlers and not shy or self-conscious around them. Most importantly, I need someone I can trust completely with my son's wellbeing.
