About Me
Hi, I’m Sofia! I’m 26 and based in Canterbury. I’m a caring, friendly and responsible person who has always loved being around children. As the second eldest in my family, I’ve grown up being someone my parents could rely on to help look after my younger brother and cousins. I’ve always enjoyed spending time with them, helping out, keeping them entertained and making sure they feel happy and comfortable.
I’m currently studying Diagnostic Radiography at university, which has helped me build strong communication skills, patience and confidence when caring for others. I also have an Enhanced DBS check and complete yearly Basic Life Support training through my course, so I understand the importance of safety and being prepared.
I enjoy doing fun activities with children such as playing games, arts and crafts, reading, baking and outdoor activities. I’m someone who is patient, kind and always makes sure children feel listened to and supported.
I know how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and trust the person looking after their child, and I’d love the opportunity to support your family and provide a safe, fun and caring environment for your little ones.
My Experience
I’ve had experience looking after my younger brother and cousins over the years. Being the second eldest in my family, I’ve always been someone my parents have relied on to help out and take care of the younger ones when needed.
I’ve helped with keeping them entertained, playing with them, helping with routines, supporting with homework and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. Through this, I’ve learnt how important it is to be patient, understanding and able to adapt to each child’s individual personality and needs.

I hold an Enhanced DBS check, allowing me to work safely with children and vulnerable individuals.
Basic Life Support Training
As part of my Diagnostic Radiography degree, I complete yearly Basic Life Support training, including responding to emergency situations and providing appropriate care when needed.
Diagnostic Radiography Student (BSc)
I am currently studying Diagnostic Radiography at university, where I have developed strong communication skills, professionalism, responsibility and experience caring for people in a healthcare setting.
Childcare Experience
I have gained childcare experience through regularly helping care for my younger brother and cousins, developing skills in patience, communication and understanding children’s needs.
