Hello,
my name is Pavla, 39 years old, and I am from the Czech Republic. I live in the UK since 2009 when I came as an au-pair and started my childcare career.
I originally studied 8-year gymnasium which I finished with A-levels. I studied astrophysics and mathematics at university but I have not finished these studies. I left and came to the UK to study English which is fluent now.
I am interested in healthy living, exploring the world and human psychology.
I am adaptable, fast learner with attention to detail, reliable and responsible with a strong sense of safety, extremely honest, trustworthy, good listener, soft speaker, punctual, independent and having an understanding to family and individual needs.
I have high IQ (I am a member of Mensa) which equips me with logical and analytical thinking, seeing in patterns and symmetry.
People don't usually recognise my autism, since having high intelligence I learn people's behaviour fast and easily, and I have not spoken about it in my profession until now.
Most recognisable personal traits of mine are honesty and structure. Both valued in my nanny career.
While I enjoy working in the family environment, I also value greatly my own privacy.
I thought that this time I might be more open about my way of thinking so my new family might have better understanding of me than any of my previous families.
I have never worked with autistic children and I do not have the right knowledge to do so. My own autism is not a qualification. Autism is a spectrum and I know mostly only how it appears in me.
My Experience
I started my childcare career as an au-pair for multiple families before becoming a babysitter, mother's help, nanny, proxy parent and emergency nanny.
Since 2012 I have combined part-time live-in childcare and housekeeping positions with having my own business providing services to families, mostly childcare and also housekeeping and house management.
I have worked with 700+ families (1000+ children) of all ages, providing all nursery duties, from different cultures, religions and backgrounds, including HNW, UHNW and VIP.
I have a gentle manner with children, I always create a routine - many of my clients remember me because of this. I do not hold this routine strictly, I understand changes, especially with young children however I believe routines are important for children - it is what helps them orient themselves in the day and it creates feeling of safety. I teach good manners, I love going out with children to parks and play together. I also let them experience boredom - at these times I don't tell them what to do, I let them to come up with their own plan or simply just be if they wish so. I like to cook for children homemade meals. I don't like to serve them with sugary and salty snacks at all.
I would like to return to full-time, long-term LIVE-IN nanny position for a family where I can use all my knowledge and experience and keep learning from their perspective. I also seek a stability after so many years working on flexible terms.
I have a basic and enhanced DBS, first aid certificate, full UK driving licence, EU settled status and references.

- Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
I'm happy to discuss my fees. Ideally £17/h for live-in position, £25/h for live-out
