My Experience
Over the past four years, I have gained experience working with children across a range of age groups. I spent three years in the toddler room before progressing to Baby Room Leader, and I have also supported within the pre-school.
In my current role, I oversee the daily running of the baby room, leading a team of four practitioners while caring for an average of 15 babies each day. My responsibilities include planning stimulating activities, monitoring children’s development, supporting colleagues, maintaining high standards of care, and building strong relationships with families.
Working across different age groups has given me a broad understanding of child development and enabled me to adapt my approach to meet each child’s individual needs.
My Qualifications
My Level 3 qualification in Childcare has provided me with a strong foundation in child development, safeguarding, and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Alongside my qualification, I regularly put this knowledge into practice by planning age-appropriate activities, observing and assessing children’s progress, promoting their emotional wellbeing, and creating safe, nurturing environments where every child can thrive.
