Experienced Nanny for Newborn in Beaconsfield - November 2026
About Me
We are a warm and energetic family based in Beaconsfield looking for an experienced, caring and proactive nanny to join us from November 2026, following the arrival of our third child (due mid-October).
We will be a family of five with two energetic boys aged 6 and 4, and our newborn. As parents, we split our time between working from home and commuting into London, and we are looking for someone who will become a trusted and valued part of our family.
My Requirements
We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced caring for newborns and young children
Warm, calm, nurturing and dependable
Organised and proactive, with the confidence to take initiative
Experienced in supporting children's learning and development through play
Comfortable caring for multiple children as the role develops
Happy working alongside parents, who will sometimes be at home
A confident cook who enjoys preparing simple, healthy children's meals
Looking to build a long-term relationship with a family
Initially, your primary focus will be supporting Mum with our newborn during those important first months, helping to establish routines, providing reassurance and becoming an extra pair of hands as we adjust to life as a family of five.
As our baby grows, the role will naturally evolve to include more shared care across all three children, creating a varied and rewarding position.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting Mum with newborn care, including feeding, settling and establishing routines
Caring for the baby while Mum completes school runs or spends one-to-one time with the older children
Occasional school drop-offs and collections
Taking the children to after-school clubs and activities
Assisting with bath and bedtime routines when required
Preparing fresh, nutritious meals for the children (recipes and cookbooks provided)
Supporting baby-led weaning when the time comes (Mum is a nutritionist and will provide guidance)
Taking the baby to local classes, groups and outings
Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development
Our children love being outdoors and enjoy swimming, football, tennis, trips to David Lloyd, National Trust properties, the Bekonscot Model Village and exploring the local area.
Hours
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
Potential to add a half day on Wednesdays over time
Typically 9:00am – 5:00pm
Some flexibility for occasional earlier starts (school runs) or later finishes (clubs or bedtime support)
While the days will generally remain consistent, occasional flexibility around Mum's work commitments would be appreciated.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys becoming part of family life. We are looking for someone who will provide a calm, caring and positive presence during the early months with our newborn, while building lasting relationships with our older boys as they continue to grow. In return, we offer a supportive, respectful and appreciative family environment where you will be valued as an important part of our children's lives.
