About Me
In terms time, I am a Teaching Assistant with an agency, but during the 6 week holiday, I'm trying go get into babysitting.
I have worked up and down both primary and secondary school with some experience in nurseries. I have received a lot of positive reviews through my agency.
I am also an Uncle of 3 nieces and 1 nephew, for whom I have looked after many times during the course of their lives (about 13 years), and have maintained a good relationship with them - they love their Uncle Phil!
I am an open minded and caring person, with lots of humour and an easygoing nature, and ready to help parents look after their kids over the course of the holiday.
My Experience
I've been a Teaching Assistant for the past 3 years, at first working in Primary Schools, then steadily moving to more SEND focused areas, and Secondary Schools shortly after. My last placement was half a year at a SEND specialised secondary school in Henley-in-Arden, where I made a very positive impression.
As said before, I have looked after my nieces and nephews for the past 13 years. This often included nappy changing, preparing meals, helping to get change clothes, homework and bedtime activities like reading and preparing drinks (my nieces like to have milkshakes or hot chocolate before they went to bed). While I have not bathed the children before, I'm willing to give it a go as well.
My Qualifications
I have 5 GCSEs in total; Cs in English, Maths, Science and Drama, and a B in French at Sneyd Community School, previously in Willenhall.
From Walsall College, I gained an Award and Certificate in Child Care and Education, both Grade D, as well as a Level 2, and Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design.
And finally, I earned a Pass grade at a Bachelor's Degree in Illustration.
My Availability
Available pretty much all times of the holiday.

- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
