My Requirements

What the role involves
Giving mum a reliable break each afternoon to rest, recharge, exercise or get things done by looking after our son:
- Taking him out for walks. We are a short distance from Kew Gardens and the river, so there is no shortage of lovely places to go.
- Playing with him at home. He is an active little boy so sensory play, tummy time, reading, and singing all make a rotation.
- Settling him for naps and managing his afternoon routine.
- Light child-related tasks — tidying his play area, cleaning bottles or baby's food utensils.

This is a relaxed and supportive role — I will be at home or very nearby throughout, so you will never be left without support. We are simply looking for an extra pair of capable hands to share the afternoon with our son and take the pressure off.

What we are looking for
- Relevant and recent experience with babies, ideally under 12 months; we would love to hear about previous babies you have cared for.
- A warm, calm and confident companion for our happy, sociable little boy. We want someone who will enjoy spending time with him.
- Reliable and consistent care — the value of this role is in the regularity; we would like someone who can commit to a regular weekly pattern.
- DBS checked, or willing to complete a check before starting.
- Non-smoker
