My Experience

I have experience caring for children across a wide range of ages, from newborns through to 16-year-olds, through babysitting, school settings and summer camps. I have supported families with newborn and toddler care, school pick-ups, preparing meals and snacks, homework support, bedtime routines, and creating fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities.

I have also gained valuable experience working in schools and summer camps, where I have supervised children in both individual and group settings, planned and led activities, supported children’s development, and ensured they were safe, included and having a positive experience. Through these roles, I have worked with children with a wide range of personalities, ages, needs and energy levels, which has helped me become confident, patient and adaptable when caring for children.

I hold Level 1 Safeguarding qualifications, alongside Paediatric First Aid, and I am DBS checked. I always prioritise children’s safety and wellbeing while creating an environment where they feel comfortable, confident and cared for. Whether it’s caring for a newborn, helping with homework, organising creative activities, playing outdoors, supporting a bedtime routine or supervising teenagers at a summer camp, I genuinely enjoy working with children and take pride in making sure they feel happy, safe and supported.
