Hello, my name is Ashley and I’m 23 years old. I grew up in Bristol as one of six siblings, so I’ve been surrounded by children, noise, routines and big personalities my whole life! I’m currently awaiting the start of my PGCE in Primary Education with a specialism in Early Years this September. Until then, I’m offering flexible babysitting services.
My Experience
I graduated with First Class honours in Early Childhood from UWE, where I developed a strong foundation in child development, safeguarding, SEND, and inclusive practice. For the past year, I’ve worked as a SEN Reception Teaching Assistant, supporting children with Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social?emotional challenges. I use modelling, co?regulation, visual supports, and consistent routines to help children feel safe, engaged, and ready to learn. I’m confident in de?escalation strategies, positive behaviour support, and adapting provision to meet individual needs.
