Nanny in Tottenham
My Summary
About Me
Working with children is something I genuinely love and feel very passionate about. Throughout my experience working in primary schools and supporting children on a 1:1 basis, including children with additional needs, I have always found it incredibly rewarding to build meaningful and trusting relationships with the children I care for.
I naturally connect with children and always make an effort to understand their individual personalities, interests and needs. I love creating a fun, positive and comfortable environment where children feel safe to be themselves, while also making sure they are supported, encouraged and cared for.
One of the things that means the most to me is seeing how strong the bonds I build with the children become. The children I have worked with often ask to see me outside of school and want to arrange playdates, which I feel is a lovely reflection of the relationships I have built with them. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and being someone they feel comfortable, happy and safe around.
My love for working with children is one of the main reasons I wanted to move into nannying. I would love the opportunity to bring my experience, caring nature, patience and enthusiasm into a family home and become someone the children can truly trust and rely on. I take great pride in creating a strong bond with every child I work with and making sure they feel valued, understood and cared for.
My Experience
I have a few years of experience working with children in primary school settings, including working as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant supporting children with Special Educational Needs. I have worked across multiple schools and have experience supporting children with a range of individual needs, helping them with their learning, development, emotional wellbeing and day-to-day routines.
My experience has taught me how important it is to understand that every child is different and requires an individual approach. I am confident in adapting activities to suit a child’s interests, abilities and needs, while creating a safe, supportive and enjoyable environment for them. I am also experienced in encouraging children’s independence, supporting their education and helping them develop their confidence and social skills.
Alongside my professional experience in schools, I have also provided private childcare and nannying for families within my local community. This has given me experience caring for children outside of a school environment and supporting families with their individual routines and childcare needs.
I am confident caring for children, organising activities, helping with homework and learning, preparing meals and keeping children entertained through creative and age-appropriate activities. My experience as a 1:1 has also given me the patience, understanding and responsibility needed to provide personalised care and build strong relationships with children and their families.
My Qualifications
qualifications and background section:
I have a Level 1 and Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care, which has given me a strong foundation in care, safeguarding, communication, wellbeing and supporting individuals with different needs. My education, combined with my practical experience, has helped me develop the patience, responsibility and understanding needed to work closely with children and provide them with a safe and supportive environment.
Throughout my working life, my experience has always been centred around working with children. I have worked in multiple primary schools and have extensive experience as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, including supporting children with Special Educational Needs. I have also provided private childcare and nannying for families within my local community. Working with children is something I have always genuinely enjoyed, and I have built my career around caring for, supporting and helping children to grow and develop.
I believe my combination of relevant qualifications and hands-on experience makes me a caring, responsible and reliable childcare professional. I am confident in adapting to each child’s individual needs, building strong relationships with children and families, and creating a positive environment where children feel safe, happy and supported.
