Dear Parents,
My name is Kiana, and I'm based in West Hampstead. I'm currently looking to take on some flexible babysitting and childcare work alongside my career as an actor and writer. I have a professional healthcare background. I used to be a pharmacist before I changed my career.
I'm a calm, warm, reliable, and creative person who genuinely enjoys spending time with children. Having grown up as the eldest among the children in my family, I've always naturally enjoyed caring for younger ones.
I love baking, arts and crafts, colouring books with kids, reading stories, imaginative play, and creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children feel happy and comfortable. I'm available during the day, evenings, and occasionally at weekends. I'd always be happy to arrange a Zoom call or meet in person beforehand, as I believe it's important for all.
This is where I think I will be a good fit:-
- Flexible schedule rather than fixed: If you are looking for flexible, as-needed help rather than a fixed weekly schedule. This might include dinner nights, occasional daytime cover, and emergencies.
- Sometimes, upon agreement, if you need me to stay longer so we can go out for a date night and have peace of mind.
- Your kids are year 3 or 4 and above, and they like someone to read them stories, color books with them, get down on the floor and play with them, keep them occupied, and simply create a comfortable atmosphere.
- I will be driving (full driving license), so it'd be great if you are nearby. It avoids traffic, and if needed in an emergency, I can come over and help depending on if I'm available.
- Of course, I love all kids and can play with boys too. But if you have girls especially, I wouldn't mind playing dolls, dough play, and all girly things, if they like it. Also, I would love to do differnet hair style if they like it. Doesn't have to be, but love to mention it (:
