About Me
I’m Meg, I’m 28 and I live in Banbury with my husband, Ben.
I’m a warm, kind and genuinely caring person, and I really love spending time with children and getting to know their individual personalities. I’m patient, trustworthy and naturally nurturing, and I always aim to make children feel happy, comfortable and well cared for. Building a genuine relationship with the children I look after is something that’s really important to me.
I’m an experienced nanny and previously worked for an amazing family in South Newington for two years. Nannying was my favourite job, so after taking a few years away to support my father with his Health & Safety business, I’m now really excited to return to working with children.
I currently regularly babysit and help with nursery pick-ups for two families, caring for children from newborn to 4 years old, so I’m comfortable looking after children at different stages and adapting to their individual needs.
Outside of work, I love being outdoors and I’m a keen runner and swimmer. My husband and I also enjoy outdoor adventures, especially hiking, biking and snowboarding. I’m active, reliable and love keeping busy, but I also really enjoy the quieter side of childcare - reading stories, getting creative, playing games and simply spending quality time together.
I have my own car and a fully clean driving licence.
My Experience
In my previous nannying role, I cared for two children aged 4–12. My responsibilities included getting them ready for school, school drop-offs and pick-ups, preparing their evening meals and managing their bedtime routines. I also helped with various housekeeping tasks for the family during the day.
I currently regularly babysit for two families, caring for children from newborn to 4 years old. This has given me experience with younger children and different stages of development, including nursery pick-ups, playtime, mealtimes and bedtime routines.
My Qualifications
I don’t hold any formal childcare qualifications, but I have several years of hands-on childcare experience, including two years working as a nanny and regular babysitting for families with children from newborn to 12 years old.
I’m happy to provide references from families I have worked with and would be very happy to discuss my experience further.
My Availability
Ideally, three days per week (can be flexible on which days but I try to keep Fridays free).

- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
