My Experience

My experience working in a care home has given me valuable skills that are transferable to childcare. In my role, I help provide compassionate and attentive care, ensuring individuals are comfortable and supported with their daily needs. This has strengthened my communication, responsibility and ability to remain calm in challenging situations. Alongside my professional experience, I have regularly cared for family members' children, helping with meals, playtime, bedtime routines, and ensuring they are happy and engaged. These experiences have helped me build strong relationships with children and understand the importance of creating a fun and supportive environment. By combining my professional care experience with my hands-on experience looking after children, I have developed the patience and caring nature needed to be a trustworthy and dependable nanny.

My Qualifications

I hold an enhanced DBS check and have completed a range of mandatory training through my role in a care home. This includes fire safety, safeguarding, health and safety, infection prevention and control, first aid awareness, and emergency procedures. These qualifications have given me the knowledge and confidence to provide safe, responsible, and high-quality care. My training has taught me how to protect the wellbeing of those in my care, respond appropriately in emergencies, and maintain a safe environment, making me well prepared for a nanny role.
