About Me
I'm a 21 year old accounting and finance student who actually has a deep passion for literature and poetry.
To destress, when the numbers in my statements aren't adding up, I like to embroider old t shirts and practice my french knots. (They could use some work)!
I live at home with my mum and dad on uni breaks and I'm currently helping renovate the house with my mum because she's a huge DIY girlie and loves to get stuck into projects.
I've lived in Battersea all my life and my neighbours are like family to me. They have been there since me and my siblings were born. Two of them are my Godparents in fact!
In future I plan to explore where my hobbies can guide my work. I love a good spreadsheet and when numbers balance, but I also love to read and I love plays and film.
And while I don't believe all hobbies should be monetised, I do think part of where you work or job you choose should fulfil some passion you have. And I do hope to find this balance someday within the finance world.
In the meantime, a passion I definitely want to explore is working with kids. And lucky for me there's no maths behind that!
My Experience
During sixth form, I looked after 2 little boys. My responsibilities included picking them up from school, taking them to football practice, taking them home and making sure they had snacks and drinks on the walks before going home for dinner. I worked for 6 hours/week for 2 years.
I also looked after a little girl on a Friday-Saturday night as her parents went away for weekends once a month. This was in my gap year before uni.
My Qualifications
All I have are referees from past jobs. I've worked as a nanny and a babysitter for around 3 years for boys and girls ranging from 2 - 8 years old. So I can confidently manage within that age range.
My Availability
I'm flexible and available up until October.
Cannot do some mornings because I'm renovating my parents home and usually get a start on that in the AM.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £19.00 per hour
Being totally honest, I'm a student just trying to pay my rent. Because I have prior experience being a babysitter, I'm going off the rates I am usually paid. Nothing too expensive I hope!
