About Me

I work as a Doctor in a Children's Hospital, while my partner E works from home for a software company.

Our two lovely children, C and E, will both be (as of September 2026) a year old. Both children are happy, easy-going and sociable. E is pretty independent while C loves a bit of attention, they enjoy playing and going out on walks. Both children are healthy and have no medical issues and they are good eaters and sleep well.

The village we live in, Failand, is a quiet and safe area, with lots of nature at our doorstep while still being only a 10-15 minute drive away from the city and nearby amenities.

My Requirements

Live In Nanny
Live Out Nanny
Part Time Nanny

We are looking for a regular nanny from mid September 2026 for two full days Monday and Tuesday. There will also be the opportunity for additional ad-hoc days on Thursday and Friday, when mutually agreed in advance. General hours will be from 8am-6pm, with some flexibility if needed.

The role will be a mixture of sole charge and shared care; I work Monday- Wednesdays usually and will be home the other days (with a few weeks in the year where I do a 7-day on-call in the hospital). We also have the childrens’ grandparents who visit regularly and will help with childcare.

Our nanny would be someone that is kind, loving and adaptable. Duties of the role: taking care of the children, preparing babies meals, accompanying children to play groups and other activities, bathing children, and engaging them in stimulating activities to help with their development. Being able to drive would be useful but not essential to the role.
