About Me

I’m a creative, friendly and responsible person with a background in art, design and creative coding. I work as a freelance coder and stylist, and I also model, so creativity is a big part of my everyday life. I love bringing that creativity into the time I spend with children, whether that is through sensory play, singing, reading, drawing, dress-up, imaginative games or simple creative activities suited to their age.

I have five years of nannying experience and have loved watching the children I cared for grow from their early years into school age. I currently work in a play centre with babies and young children aged 8 months to 4 years, so I am very comfortable caring for little ones and responding to their individual needs.

When caring for babies from around 8 months old, I understand the importance of following their usual feeding, sleeping and daily routines. I am comfortable supporting bottle or mealtimes, changing nappies, settling babies for naps and keeping them safe and comfortable throughout the day. I also enjoy supporting their early development through tummy time, floor play, sensory activities, songs, stories and age-appropriate toys. I am attentive to babies’ cues and aim to provide a calm, warm and reassuring presence.

For older children, I am happy to help with playtime, creative activities, homework, meals and everyday routines. Because of my creative background, I can also plan basic art sessions, imaginative games, simple design projects and creative play activities tailored to each child’s age and interests.

I am patient, calm, energetic and genuinely enjoy spending time with children. I would love to support your family and provide a safe, nurturing and enjoyable environment for your child.

**My favourite childcare moments**

I love working with children because it is rewarding to see how quickly they learn, develop and build their personalities. With babies, I particularly enjoy seeing their confidence grow as they begin crawling, exploring new foods, responding to songs and sounds, learning to communicate and becoming more curious about the world around them.

I love how funny, imaginative and naturally curious children can be. Spending time with them is refreshing, and I enjoy knowing that the care, encouragement and positive example I provide can help them grow into kind and confident people.

Having cared for children of different ages, I understand that every stage comes with different needs and milestones. I find it very rewarding to support children as they learn new skills, and I genuinely enjoy building warm and trusting relationships with both children and their families.

**My story in a nutshell**

I grew up in a creative environment and have always been drawn to art, design and technology. I went on to study art and design alongside creative coding, which allowed me to combine creativity with digital skills. Since graduating, I have worked as a freelance coder, stylist and model, building a career that reflects my love of creativity and self-expression.

Alongside my creative work, I have spent the past five years nannying, mainly through recommendations and word of mouth. I have been fortunate to work with lovely families, build strong and trusting relationships, and support their children as they have grown. This experience has become a very important part of my life and has helped shape my caring, patient and responsible nature.

I currently work at a play centre with children aged 8 months to 4 years. In this role, I care for babies and toddlers in a busy group environment, supporting their early development through play, creativity and consistent routines. I help keep the children safe, comfortable and engaged while supporting feeding, naps, nappy changes and age-appropriate activities.

I will be leaving this role soon to focus more on my freelance work while continuing to nanny. Family is very important to me, and I naturally bring warmth, kindness and responsibility into the way I care for children. In the future, I hope to continue growing my creative career while also working with families and supporting children in a positive, nurturing and imaginative way.

My Experience

I have cared for several children over the past five years through nannying, as well as working in a play centre with babies and young children aged 8 months to 4 years.

I am confident caring for babies from around 8 months old and understand the importance of following their individual feeding, sleeping and daily routines. My experience includes preparing bottles, simple meals and age-appropriate snacks, supporting weaning, changing nappies, settling babies for naps, supervising tummy time and floor play, and encouraging early development through songs, reading, sensory play and age-appropriate activities. I am attentive to babies’ cues and always aim to create a calm, comforting and secure environment.

During my nannying roles, I typically worked part-time hours across the week and supported families long-term, watching the children grow from their early years into school age. My responsibilities included school pick-ups and drop-offs, helping with homework, reading together, planning creative activities, outdoor play, preparing meals and snacks, and supporting bath and bedtime routines when needed.

In my current role at a play centre, I care for babies and young children in a group setting. My responsibilities include supervising play, supporting early learning and development, helping with feeding and nap routines, changing nappies, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and keeping the children happy, engaged and comfortable throughout the day.

I am confident working with a wide range of ages, from babies to older children. I am patient, attentive and nurturing, and I always aim to create a safe, positive and creative environment where children feel secure, comfortable and happy.
