Am a retired qualified teacher with childcare experience from birth with two small grandchildren.

Retired primary teacher, tutor, grandchildren.
Seven years experience as a primary teacher, five as a Careers Adviser, tutored several children over the years with First Tutors, retired teacher with 19 year old vision impaired autistic son, other disabilities also, off to university next year. Grandchildren sleep over. Eldest is almost four, was my daugher's birth partner, as a baby she lived with myself and my husband until my daughter moved out when she was nine months old. Grandson 18 months.
Am a volunteer on Friday mornings with an organisation that involves work with small children and should shortly offer the oppportunity to apply for a DBS check which has now lapsed since my last job working in a nursery just after Covid.
As I receive Carers Allowance for my son I would like to limit the hours per week that I work to two afternoons or similar, am flexible, so that I can continue to claim this for him when he is at university next year.
My Qualifications
PGCE TEFL.
A PGCE is a one year course that qualifies the person to be a class teacher in the UK.
TEFL is a qualification that enables a person to teach those people who have English as a second language.
My Availability
One or two afternoons per week, or days, flexible hours required.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
10 pounds or whatever the usual rate/minimum wage is.
