About Me
I am seeking an experienced, private tutor for my 12-year-old (Year 7 age group) who has been home educated for the past 6 months. We are looking to fill academic gaps in core subjects and build learning confidence with the goal of potentially transitioning back into mainstream secondary school.
The goal would be to assess current learning levels, identify gaps, and align progress with the UK National Curriculum standard for Year 7/8.
My son needs a tutor who is patient, encouraging, and structured and someone who knows how to re-engage a student and make learning manageable without being overwhelming.
My Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or secondary teaching experience is strongly preferred, as is experience supporting home-educated or transitioning pupils.
In-person at our home / At tutor's venue.
Hours: Potentially 4 hours per week split across 2 sessions, during weekday daytime or late afternoon.
