About Me
I provide safe, reliable, and engaging childcare tailored to each child's individual needs. I can support with playtime, educational activities, homework, meal preparation, bedtime routines and light tidying related to the children. With my background in Primary Education and experience supporting children with special educational needs, I aim to create a fun, caring, and nurturing environment where children feel happy, safe and supported while parents have peace of mind.
My Experience
During my three-year Primary Education degree, I gained valuable experience working with children of different ages and abilities through placements in primary schools. These experiences helped me develop strong skills in supporting children's learning, managing behaviour positively, and creating engaging, age-appropriate activities.
Alongside my studies, I cared for a family with two daughters who have special educational needs for two years. In this role, I provided patient, compassionate, and individualised support, adapting to each child's unique needs and routines while ensuring they felt safe, happy, and supported. This experience strengthened my communication skills, confidence, and ability to build trusting relationships with both children and parents.
I will also be starting my first teaching role in September, bringing with me the knowledge, responsibility, and enthusiasm to provide high-quality childcare in a safe and nurturing environment.
My Qualifications
-BA (Hons) Primary Education (3-year degree)
-Qualified Primary School Teacher (starting my teaching role in September)
-Full Enhanced DBS check
-Full UK driving licence
-Two years of experience caring for children with special educational needs
-Extensive experience working with children through primary school placements
-Strong knowledge of child development, safeguarding, and creating safe, engaging environments for children
My Availability
I am available throughout the entire month and can offer flexible childcare during weekdays, evenings, and weekends. I'm happy to accommodate regular bookings as well as occasional babysitting, depending on your family's needs. Please feel free to get in touch to discuss availability.

- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
