About Me
Hi I’m Becky and I am part of the Little Explorers team based in Retford.
Seona, Ricole and I provide a home from home setting for children.
We are dedicated to giving children a safe place where they can learn and grow through a variety of activities.
We also have Gilbert- Seona’s sausage dog as part of the team which helps give children a unique experience learning boundaries, responsibility and real life skills that will prepare them for moving on in their learning journey.
We like to be out and about as much as we can whether that’s going to local parks for picnics and play, walks in woodlands, visiting local farms, playgroups and having a petting zoo come to visit or bigger outings to Yorkshire wildlife park, tropical butterfly house, museums etc we like to offer unique and exciting experiences alongside covering the areas of learning outlined in the EYFS.
All members of staff have an enhanced dbs, paediatric first aid, safeguarding and food hygiene training.
We are Ofsted registered, open 8am-5pm Monday to Friday and aim to provide flexible and reliable childcare for our parents.
My Experience
Previously worked in a local nursery and have my level 2 qualification in early years and currently doing level 3.
Ricole is currently undertaking her level 3 in early years.
Seona is a parent to two boys (2 and 7), has 13 years experience in residential childcare, 5 years at CAMHS as an assistant psychologist specialising in ND disorders (autism/adhd) and previously DDSL for a specialist provision before going full time with little explorers last year.

Level 3 undertaking
Ricole - level 3 undertaking
Seona - early years training with agency, undergraduate in behavioural studies, masters in psychology, autism and adhd training NHS
My Availability
Limited availability for under 2s October/ November 2026 start
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
We accept funded hours private rate is £6.50
