About Me
Family of 4. I’m Emily, my husband is Darren. We have 2 kids. An 11 year old boy Alfie and a 9 year old boy Oliver. Oliver has mild cerebral palsy and whilst he doesn’t need constant assistance, he does require more than a typical 9 year old in terms of help dressing, toileting and getting up and downstairs himself. He isn’t able to make his own food and drinks and requires supervision when eating. He can do these things, he just requires a little help. We also have a dog and a cat (mentioning for allergy purposes, they don’t require anything other than fuss and letting out for toileting in the garden whilst watching the kids!)
My Requirements
We don’t have a support network, so we are just looking for occasional date night cover and child free time sometimes. Both boys are in school and we work full time so it’s likely just some evenings and weekends. Usually very easy kids to look after, typical boys that like their own space that just need a responsible adult in the house.
