My Requirements

We are looking for a reliable, friendly person to help keep our home running smoothly. We already have a cleaner who comes weekly for deep cleaning, so this role is about day-to-day tidiness and support — not childcare (we handle that ourselves!).
What you’d be doing
• Tidying the house and putting toys away
• Making beds
• Doing laundry and some ironing
• Keeping the kitchen clean and organised
• General light housekeeping to keep things running smoothly
• Bonus: help with meal prep, batch cooking, and simple recipes (not essential, but a big plus if you enjoy cooking!)
• Extra bonus: we’re a family who loves Southeast Asian food — Malay, Thai, Indian, and Vietnamese cooking — so if you have knowledge of these cuisines and enjoy batch-cooking them, that would be ideal
What we’re looking for
• Someone local to Islington who can pop in regularly
• Reliable, trustworthy, and happy to work independently
• This could be a great fit if you’re looking for a few extra hours during the school day — e.g. after morning drop-off, before pickup — and we’d also love someone available through the summer holidays, when our regular cleaner is sometimes off
