My Experience

I have over 14 years' experience working with children and families. As a Qualified Primary School Teacher, I have taught children aged 4–11 years, as well as running after-school clubs and holiday/summer clubs. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about creating safe, nurturing environments where children can grow in confidence, develop independence and enjoy learning through play. I bring this experience into Sky Meadow Childcare, providing a warm, home from home setting where every child feels happy, valued and supported.

My Qualifications

I am a Qualified Teacher (QTS) with a BA (Hons) in Childhood Studies and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children's Care, Learning and Development (Advanced Practice). I am also CIW Registered, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene trained.
With over 14 years' experience working with children, I have extensive knowledge of supporting children with a wide range of individual needs, including Additional Learning Needs (ALN), speech, language and communication needs, social and emotional development, and promoting inclusive learning. I am passionate about creating a nurturing environment where every child feels valued, supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.
