Donay
Registered Childminder with Special Needs Experience Job in Luton
About Me
Hi, I’m Donay, a working mum to my wonderful 15-month-old son. I have recently accepted a full-time work-from-home role and am looking for a caring, reliable and experienced childcare provider to become part of our support network. My son has Cerebral Palsy following a brain injury at birth, so I’m looking for someone who is patient, nurturing and confident supporting a child with additional physical needs. Finding the right person is much more important to me than finding the quickest option, and I’d love to build a trusting, long-term relationship with the right childcare provider.
My Requirements
I am looking for an Ofsted-registered childcare provider for my 15-month-old son, starting from the end of September 2026.
My son has Cerebral Palsy and is a happy, sociable little boy who enjoys interaction and play. He currently eats purees and attends regular physiotherapy. Experience with children who have additional needs or physical disabilities would be a huge advantage, although a caring attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
I work from home on a rota provided six weeks in advance. My shifts fall between 8:00am and 9:00pm, Monday to Sunday, so I’m looking for someone who can offer flexibility around a changing schedule. My mum is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays, so childcare would mainly be required on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and some Saturdays, depending on my rota.
I would love to hear from providers who feel they could offer Ezra a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
