About Me
I am a passionate and caring Primary Education student at St Mary’s University, currently working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Through my teaching placements across Reception, Year 2 and Year 5, I have developed confidence in planning engaging lessons, supporting children with diverse learning needs, and creating inclusive classroom environments. I am patient, adaptable and committed to helping every child reach their full potential. My experience working with SEND pupils, alongside my strong communication and classroom management skills, has strengthened my dedication to making a positive difference in children’s education and development.
My Experience
I have gained hands-on teaching experience through placements in Reception, Year 2, and Year 5 classrooms. I have planned and delivered lessons across a range of subjects, supported pupils with SEND, led small group interventions, assessed progress, and managed classroom behaviour. These experiences have strengthened my skills in adaptive teaching, communication, lesson planning, and creating inclusive learning environments where all children can succeed.
My Qualifications
I am currently studying BA (Hons) Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) at St Mary’s University. I hold A Levels in Sociology and Media Studies, along with qualifications in English Literature, Interactive Media, and BTEC Media. I have also completed specialist training in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Family at the Centre of Early Learning, and The Child’s Perspective on Play. Additionally, I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and have developed a strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education practices.

Availability can change I.e Wednesday and Sunday work
