About Me
My name is Valeria and we are a warm, friendly family based in Battersea. We are looking for our first nanny for our little boy, Daniel, who will be 9 months old when the role starts in October.
This is a big milestone for our family as it will be the first time Daniel has been without me. I had hoped to stay at home for longer, but I’ll be returning to work earlier than planned, so finding the right person is incredibly important to us. As you can imagine, I’m feeling quite anxious about leaving him, so we’re looking for someone who is genuinely kind, patient, loving and nurturing - someone who will care for him as if he were their own.
The position will run from October until the end of December, before Daniel starts nursery.
My Requirements
We’re looking for an experienced nanny with a strong background caring for babies under one year old.
The ideal nanny will:
* Have experience with babies aged 9–12 months.
* Be confident introducing and preparing age-appropriate solid foods and encouraging healthy eating habits.
* Be knowledgeable about infant development and help support Daniel’s learning through play, reading and age-appropriate activities.
* Hold an up-to-date paediatric first aid qualification.
* Be warm, calm, reliable and attentive.
* Be happy to take Daniel to local classes, walks and activities, weather permitting.
* Be comfortable preparing his meals, keeping his play areas tidy and supporting his daily routine.
The role is Monday to Friday during the daytime (approximately 9am–5pm, with exact hours to be discussed).
We’re looking for someone who will become a trusted part of our family and help make this transition as smooth as possible for both Daniel and me.
