My Summary

My Experience

I have worked with children from the age of 7 months old to 17 years old. I have only worked for family and friends and friends of family but I am looking to extend my work with children. I haven’t selected working with newborns as one of my options as I wouldn’t put myself in a situation where I don’t feel completely confident with your child and being able to look after them. I don’t feel like I have worked with the newborn-11 months age enough. But I babysit on a regular basis for my own sister who has a now 3,4&9 year old. I also babysit and look after my cousins who’s ages range from 5 to 11 and I have a sister aged 8 who I look after she is neurodivergent and has bipolar and adhd so I have experience with children who can’t control their emotions and I also have a brother aged 16 who has autism he doesn’t like loud noises and he doesn’t like to leave his room which is his comfort zone, he’s also very picky with food and quite sensitive to meeting new people so I have experience with autism in that sense. I haven’t had experience with nonverbal children but most of my family work in care work and my auntie is a carer for an older individual who struggles with speaking and I have had experience working with him.

My Qualifications

Unfortunately I never went to college to get my qualifications I have only had experience within family and friends which I understand is a lot for many parents to trust. With most of my family being care workers or have worked with children and me having such a big family who I have worked with and done babysitting for and having so many siblings who have their own children who I automatically become a babysitter for I do feel extremely confident within working with children. And I do have siblings and other family members who have additional needs which I have experience with.

My Availability

I am available all day/ night everyday including weekends. But I don’t work before 9am as I have to be able to get to where I am going via public transport or walking.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour

My rates are per hour not per child however for more than two children it is an additional £5 per hour.
My rates change after 10pm to £18 an hour.
I won’t ask you to cover my travel as I will take that out of my hourly rate.
If you are more than 15 minutes later than you agreed I will charge you for the full hour but up to 15 minutes is no extra charge.
