Afternoon baby sitter for 7 weeks needed
About Me
We are a warm and welcoming family looking for a kind, reliable and experienced babysitter to look after our baby for around 3.5-4 hours a day, for a period of 7 weeks (from 22nd October)
We live in a comfortable, spacious and bright home in Newark, with plenty of room for our baby to play, rest and be cared for. We want whoever looks after our baby to feel comfortable and at home while they are with us.
My husband and I will mainly be working from home during these hours. We will of course be around if needed, but we will give the babysitter plenty of space and privacy to get on with their day and build a lovely routine with our baby. We are looking for someone who is confident working independently and who will feel comfortable asking us anything if needed.
We are a friendly and respectful family and would really value someone who is caring, trustworthy and gentle with our little one. Experience with young babies is particularly important to us.
We hope to find someone who enjoys spending time with babies and would be happy to become a familiar and trusted person in our baby's routine for the six weeks.
My Requirements
We are looking for childcare for our baby for around 3.5 -4 hours a day (afternoon), for 7 weeks (starting 22nd October). I am still breastfeeding, so experience supporting a breastfed baby is important. We are also beginning the weaning process, so we would ideally like someone who has experience introducing solids to babies and is confident preparing and offering age-appropriate foods.
We are looking for someone caring, patient and attentive, with experience looking after young babies. Paediatric first-aid training and references would be preferred.
