Vicky
Nanny in Sheffield (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
Hi, I'm Vicky! I'm 24 years old, originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I recently moved to the UK to be with my partner, and I'm looking for a full-time, live-out nanny role where I can bring warmth, reliability, and real experience with children to a family.
Being around children and helping has always been something I genuinely love doing! I stay calm under pressure, I communicate clearly, and I build trust with people quickly.
Outside of work I love cooking, painting, and spending time outdoors.
I'm settling into life here in the UK now and I'm looking for a family where I can be consistent, dependable, and genuinely invested in their day to day. Happy to answer any questions about my background, feel free to get in touch!
My Experience
I'm originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Back in 2018 and 2019 I did volunteer work in underserved communities around the city and other different provinces, travelling out to bring clothes, books, and food, and spending time with the kids and families there. Around that same time I also used to babysit for family friends' kids while I was finishing my studies at Secondary School.
After that, once I graduated from University, I worked as an IT recruiter for a startup in Argentina, which built my communication skills and my ability to build trust with people quickly.
I then moved to Australia for three years. Early on I worked as a nanny for a couple of months before moving into hospitality, which is what I needed to do to extend my visa. I ended up working my way up to supervising a large family-friendly venue, and that role taught me a huge amount, how to stay calm under pressure, think on my feet, and look after people's wellbeing even during the busiest moments.
While I was back in Argentina waiting for my UK partner visa to be approved, I volunteered at my sister's primary school, where she teaches English. There I got to spend time with children from first grade, reading books and playing.
Now that I've arrived in the UK, I'm looking forward to getting back into nannying and taking care of children, something I've already been doing for the grandchildren of some of my partner's mum's friends.
I've completed my Level 2 course in Safeguarding and Welfare of Children in the UK, and I have my paediatric first aid certificate.
My Qualifications
I've completed the Level 2 Certificate in Introducing Caring for Children and Young People Course, and I hold a paediatric first aid certificate.
My Availability
Full-time Monday to Friday.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
My rate is £12–14 per hour for nannying, and £11–13 per hour for babysitting, depending on the number of children and the specific responsibilities involved. I'm happy to discuss this further based on your family's needs and the details of the role. For full-time positions, I'm open to agreeing a weekly or annual rate instead of hourly, whatever works best for you.
My Documents
- International Passport (added 04/08/2026)
