Hi, my name is Claire Crane and I live in Knaphill, Woking with my partner. I have been childminding for over 20 years. On all of my Ofsted Inspections I have been awarded grades of Good or Outstanding. I recently have a full time space due to one of my families leaving to have another baby.
Rather than list all my qualifications, skills and attributes, please arrange a visit so you can meet me in person and I can show you my portfolio along with my wonderful references from very satisfied families.
My home is a 2 bedroomed, detached house with a spacious living room, dining/play room and kitchen, my garden has a fenced off terrace as well as a large, grassed garden, it is totally enclosed and there is plenty of space for children to play. I have a large range of toys, books and games for children of all ages.
Our day to day activities include local outings, visits to parks and childminder groups, arts and crafts, baking along with many others.
I follow the EYFS to encourage children to be the best they can be.
My Experience
I have over twenty years experience of Childminding along with being a parent and grandparent.
My Qualifications
I have all the relevant qualifications to be able to practice as a Childminder along with numerous other courses including Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding Children and Communicating with Children, I am constantly updating my training to be able to offer children the best possible care in my setting. I am qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and I am currently acheived a Quality Improvement Award.

For my kids - they have always enjoyed their time with Claire. Over the years they have felt comfortable enough to confide in her on tough days they have had at school or when me and my husband separated. There were numerous in jokes and fun shared between them and it was great to come to the door to pick them up and hear the giggles and laughter coming from inside before I rang the doorbell.
For me - Claire has truly been phenomenal. I could not do what I had to do as a full time working Mum if I didn't know that my children were completely happy, safe and so well looked after by Claire. Both my children are asthmatic and have allergies so I was concerned when I first went to work full time that they would be ok. Claire was very reassuring and when it became apparent in time that both children would require Epi-pens with them, I always felt confident in Claire's ability to look after them should the worse ever happen whilst they were out. On looking back through my emails I can see the number of times I have thanked Claire for going, what I consider, absolutely above and beyond the call of duty and having the kids best interests at heart.
Claire invoices regularly so I could pay her easily each month and she has always been happy to try and fit in extra days if possible when I needed her when I was away travelling with work.
I cannot recommend Claire highly enough.
