I believe childhood should be full of exploration, creativity, and fun. I love planning engaging, age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, messy play, sensory activities, baking, reading stories, music, imaginative play, outdoor adventures, and visits to parks, libraries, and local groups. I enjoy following each child’s interests while supporting their learning and development through play.

I’m happy to support families with:
* Full-time or part-time nannying

* Bath and bedtime routines
* Light child-related household duties, including children’s laundry, tidying play areas, and meal preparation

My Experience
I have several years of professional experience working in early years settings, caring for children from babies through to preschool age. Throughout my career, I’ve supported children at different stages of development, creating safe, nurturing, and engaging environments where they can learn through play and build confidence.
Most recently, I worked as a Senior Practitioner, where I took on additional responsibilities alongside providing high-quality care. My role included planning and delivering stimulating activities linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), monitoring children’s progress, completing observations and assessments, supporting children’s individual learning and development, and working closely with families to ensure each child’s needs were met.
I have experience managing daily routines, including meal times, sleep routines, toileting, personal care, and supporting children with transitions into new rooms and on to school. I enjoy encouraging children’s independence while providing the reassurance and consistency they need to feel safe and secure.
Working in childcare has given me excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills. I’m confident caring for multiple children at once, adapting activities for different ages and abilities, and creating fun, educational experiences both indoors and outdoors.
Above all, I love building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families. I believe every child deserves to feel valued, supported, and encouraged to develop at their own pace, and I take pride in creating warm, positive environments where children can thrive.
My Qualifications
I hold a Level 3 Early Years Qualification, which has given me a strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and creating engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences for children.
I am Paediatric First Aid certified, giving me the knowledge and confidence to respond appropriately in emergency situations and prioritise children’s safety at all times.
I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate and am registered with the DBS Update Service, providing families with reassurance that my background checks are current.
I also have a full, clean UK driving licence, allowing me to safely transport children to school, nursery, activities, and outings where required.
In addition, I hold a BA (Hons) in Illustration. My degree has strengthened my creativity and allows me to bring a wide range of imaginative, artistic, and hands-on activities into my childcare. I love inspiring children through arts and crafts, storytelling, messy play, and creative projects that encourage confidence, self-expression, and a love of learning.
Combined with my several years of professional childcare experience, my qualifications enable me to provide safe, nurturing, and engaging care while supporting each child’s individual development and interests.
