About Me

I am a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant with experience in both specialist and mainstream education, as well as a background in mental health care. I am passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment. Outside of work, I enjoy arts and crafts, particularly crochet, along with reading and spending time outdoors.

My Experience

I have over three years of experience working with children and vulnerable individuals across education and healthcare. My current role involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD and complex learning needs, while previously working in mainstream education and inpatient mental health services. I have extensive experience in behaviour management, safeguarding, communication and person-centred support.

I am looking for a role that offers more guaranteed weekly/ term time hours and would be open to an opportunity of dedicating more time to a permanent position. I am available outside of my current working hours immediately and am happy to discuss increased availability for the right opportunity.
