My name is Sarah, I am 22 and a student at Newcastle University. I have just achieved my bachelors degree in education, however in September I am doing a Primary PGCE to obtain my Qualified teaching status! I have worked in child care for almost 2 years, and it is something I absolutely adore doing! I also have an enhanced DBS and am part of the update service.
I have experience in catering for allergies as I have worked in a nursery setting.
I also have experience in SEND, due to previously supporting a 3 year old boy with additional needs, and a 3 year old girl with communication difficulties.
I am friendly, reliable, a great communicator and a great listener.
I have experience in planning fun and engaging activities for 3-5 year olds, but also have great ideas for older children too due to the nature of my university course!

Employment in a private nursery since Feb 2025
I am the oldest of 3 children, and the oldest of 16 cousins (the youngest being 18 month), so I have lots of experience in helping out with things such as homework, changing nappies, making food etc.
Experience in SEND, due to uni course, actual hands on experience in a nursery setting and having family with additional needs.

My Availability
As I am a student at university commencing in September, I am available on evenings from 4.30pm onwards Monday-Friday, and I am fully available on a Saturday and Sunday
