My Summary

My Experience

Although I haven’t worked in a formal childcare role yet, I have gained experience through babysitting for family friends, spending time with children at family and social events, and completing a day of work experience at Kiddy Winks soft play.

I’ve always found that children naturally feel comfortable around me, and I’ve often been told by family and friends that I have a natural way with children and should consider working in childcare. Whenever I’m around family friends and their children, I’m usually the person they come to and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. I love getting involved, making up games and activities, and finding ways to keep children entertained while also making sure they feel comfortable and listened to.

I’m patient, approachable and caring, and I understand that every child has their own personality and needs. I’m happy to follow parents’ routines and preferences, whether that involves playing and doing activities, helping with homework, preparing simple meals, getting children ready for bed or simply keeping them company.

My Qualifications

I have no childcare qualifications however I have completed a first aid training course for my DOFE.
