My Experience

I have professional experience working in a nursery, where I cared for children of different ages and supported their learning and development in a safe, nurturing environment. My responsibilities included planning and taking part in activities, encouraging learning through play, supporting children’s personal care and toilet training, helping with mealtimes, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

This experience has helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to adapt to each child’s individual needs. I enjoy helping children build confidence, encouraging their independence, and making every day fun and engaging through play and meaningful activities.

I’m excited to bring my nursery experience into a nanny role, providing families with reliable, caring, and attentive childcare in a home environment.

My Qualifications

I have achieved an SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) qualification at SCQF Level 6 and I am registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

My qualification and training have given me knowledge and experience in supporting children’s learning, development, health, and wellbeing. I have developed skills in safeguarding, planning activities, supporting individual needs, encouraging learning through play, and creating a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for children.
