About Me

Hi, I'm Melanie, a Biosciences student at the University of Surrey. I have over 2 years of experience working with primary school children as both a tutor and a science after-school club leader. I enjoy helping children learn, play and develop confidence through engaging activities. I hold an Enhanced DBS check and am responsible, reliable and enthusiastic when working with children. I am happy to provide homework support, creative activities and help with bedtime routines.

My Experience

I have worked with children for more than 2 years as a primary school tutor and science after-school club leader. In these roles I have supervised groups of children, managed behaviour, delivered educational activities and communicated with parents. I have experience working with children aged 5-11 and am confident supporting homework, reading, maths and fun science activities.

My Qualifications

I am a Biosciences student at the University of Surrey and hold an Enhanced DBS check. I have completed Safeguarding Awareness Training, Paediatric First Aid Training and Anaphylaxis Training.

My Availability
