Thank you for coming across my profile, I’m Megan and I’ve been a nanny for 3.5 years! What started off as a part time job around my studies, developed into a long term passion.
What I am looking for:
My current family are no longer needing a nanny as the child has reached a older age and is going to be in pre school 5 days a week. As much as this is bittersweet I can say I have proudly helped set this child up to where she is today and it’s time to do that for a new family!
I am currently looking for a family who require a nanny for 2–3 full days per week, ideally caring for a young child from newborn to preschool age, will be flexible for the right family/ fit. I am a part time Pilates teacher so 20-30 hours works best. I am particularly passionate about providing the personalised, one-to-one care that younger children benefit from, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment tailored specifically to their individual needs, personality and development. I love getting to know each family and adapting my approach to fit their routines, values and parenting style, ensuring the child receives consistent, attentive care while being supported to learn, explore and develop at their own pace.
I would describe myself as caring, kind, honest dedicated and highly organised professional with a natural ability to build trusting and caring relationships with both children and parents. With experience supporting families in the home, I create a calm, nurturing environment that supports healthy development during the most formative stages. My business degree has strengthened my ability to manage daily routines, household organisation, and scheduling with structure and efficiency. I bring emotional intelligence, reliability, and a gentle approach to every aspect of care, offering both attentive support to the child and practical assistance to the family with warmth, respect, and professionalism. I think it’s truly special being part of a family and that is why I love being a nanny!
I have an updated enhanced DBS and I’m getting my paediatric first aid certification in September!
My Experience
I have 3 years of nannying experience. I’ve worked with children from the ages of 2-9, giving me confidence to adapt to the different needs, personalities and stages of development across these ages. With my current role I provide full time care for a 2 and 5 year old where I am responsible for their daily routines, development and interests.

-responsible for organising clubs, days out and children’s social activities especially in holidays
-assisted with pick ups and drop offs and travel by riding cargo bike with confidence

My Availability
I am available Monday-Friday, flexible for the right family.
My Fees
- Nannying from £25.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £25.00 per hour
My standard rate is £25 per hour, reflecting my experience and commitment to providing high-quality, personalised childcare. My fee includes all aspects of childcare, such as planning activities and outings, school/nursery runs, preparing children’s meals and keeping their spaces tidy. I’m reliable, attentive and happy to adapt my approach to suit each family’s routines, preferences and individual needs.
