About Me

Hi! My name is Danielle and I'm looking for someone special to become a regular part of our family.

We have two lovely boys, our eldest turned three this summer and starts preschool in September, and our newborn baby, who arrived in June. Like many families with two young children, life has become wonderfully busy!

My husband, Lee, works in live sports television. His job means he's often away for long days, particularly on Wednesdays and Thursdays during the football season, so I'm looking for someone who can be an extra pair of hands during the busiest part of the day.

We're looking for someone warm, reliable and proactive who enjoys spending time with children and is happy to help the household run smoothly. We'd love someone who can build a great relationship with our toddler, support with the baby when needed, and help with light household tasks such as laundry, tidying toys, loading or unloading the dishwasher, or preparing a simple meal while the children are settled.

We'd also love someone who enjoys becoming part of the children's daily routine. This could include collecting our eldest from preschool (if required), playing with him, doing activities at home, helping with tea time, bath time and bedtime, reading stories, and generally making the evenings run a little more smoothly. There will also be times when we'd appreciate help cuddling or settling the baby, allowing me to spend some one-to-one time with our eldest, or vice versa. We're looking for someone who is happy to adapt to whatever support is needed on the day.

Initially, we're looking for help every Wednesday and Thursday from approximately 2pm to 8pm, with occasional additional hours by mutual agreement.

Above all, we're hoping to find someone kind, trustworthy and experienced who we'd genuinely enjoy having as part of our family for the long term.

My Requirements

Babysitter
Live Out Nanny
Part Time Nanny
Mothers Help

We're looking for a warm, experienced and reliable part-time nanny or mother's helper to become a regular part of our family.

The role will primarily be every Wednesday and Thursday from approximately 2pm to 8pm, with additional hours available on an ad-hoc basis by mutual agreement.

One parent will usually be at home during these hours, so we're looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and becoming an extra pair of hands during the busiest part of the day.

The role will include:

Collecting our eldest from preschool (if required).
Planning fun, engaging activities and spending quality one-to-one time with him.
Supporting with the evening routine, including tea time, bath time and bedtime.
Caring for our newborn when needed, allowing me to spend one-to-one time with our eldest, or vice versa.
Helping the household run smoothly by assisting with light household tasks, such as laundry, tidying toys, loading or unloading the dishwasher, preparing a simple family meal, and generally helping us stay on top of family life.

We're looking for someone who is kind, proactive and happy to adapt to the needs of the day. Some days you'll be entertaining our toddler while I care for the baby, and on other days you may be cuddling or settling the baby while I spend some special time with our eldest. We'd love to find someone who is looking to build a long-term relationship with our family and become a trusted part of our children's lives.
