My Experience

I have almost 6 years of professional childcare experience, working with children from babies through to preschool age. During this time, I have progressed from Bank Staff to Senior Practitioner and now Room Leader, giving me extensive experience caring for children at different stages of their development.

As a Room Leader, I am responsible for supporting children’s learning and development, planning engaging activities, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, communicating with parents and working closely with other members of the team. I have experience following individual routines, supporting children with their personal care and helping them develop their confidence, independence and social skills.

I have also provided babysitting for families from my current nursery, giving me experience caring for children within their own home environment and adapting to different family routines and requirements.

My experience has taught me to be patient, organised, responsible and adaptable, and I always aim to provide children with a warm, caring and positive experience.

My Qualifications

I hold a Level 2 and Level 3 qualification in Childcare, giving me a strong foundation in child development, safeguarding and providing high-quality care.

I also hold a Paediatric First Aid qualification and have a valid DBS check. In addition, I have qualifications in Maths and English.

These qualifications, alongside my almost 6 years of practical childcare experience, have given me the knowledge, skills and confidence to provide safe, nurturing and reliable care for children.

My Availability

I am currently working in my existing childcare role, but I am looking to make the move into nannying. If I am successful in securing a suitable position, I would be available Monday to Friday, with some weekend availability depending on the family’s requirements.

My preferred working hours would be around 9am–5pm, although I am flexible and happy to discuss different hours where possible. I would be able to agree a suitable start date with my new family, allowing for the appropriate notice period with my current employer.

My Fees

• Nannying from £25.00 per hour (gross)

My nannying fees are £20–£25 per hour, depending on the responsibilities, number of children and requirements of the role. I am happy to discuss rates with families based on their individual needs and I am open to negotiating for a suitable long-term position.
