We’re a warm, busy family of four with two lovely boys, aged 7 and 3. They’re affectionate, curious and full of energy and love reading, Lego, science, games, being outdoors, trips to the park and, most importantly, food!
We’re a happy, welcoming family and would love to find someone who can become a trusted part of family life. We’re looking for someone warm, caring and reliable who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and helping them learn, explore and build confidence.
We value kindness, curiosity and having fun together, and we’d love our nanny to build a lovely relationship with both boys and hopefully stay with us for the longer term.
My Requirements
We’re looking for an after-school nanny Monday–Friday to help with our two boys, aged 7 and 3.
Hours are approximately 3.35/3.45–6.30pm Monday–Thursday and 3–6.30pm on Fridays, with the possibility of additional hours during school holidays and occasional babysitting if wanted.
The main responsibilities would be collecting the boys from school/nursery, bringing them home, helping our eldest with homework and reading, preparing a healthy evening meal and keeping them happy and engaged until we finish work and take over for bath and bedtime.
Their school/nursery is a short journey from home, so pick-up would involve either driving (if you have a car) or taking the bus with them. We therefore need someone confident and comfortable managing the journey safely with both boys.
We try to keep weekdays screen-free and would love someone who enjoys reading, playing games, getting outside, doing activities and encouraging the boys’ interests and curiosity.
We’re looking for someone caring, organised, proactive and dependable who will get to know the boys well and become a trusted part of our family.
