Sally
Nanny in London
My Summary
About Me
Hi, my name is Sally! I’m a qualified Paediatric Occupational Therapist with an Honours degree in Occupational Therapy. I currently do nanny work because I genuinely love spending time with children and really enjoy being part of their everyday lives. I love getting to know each child’s personality, interests and what makes them happy, and finding fun ways to keep them engaged and learning.
I’m a very active person and love being outdoors, going for walks, exploring new places and travelling. I’ve lived in four different countries, which has given me a real love for experiencing different cultures, meeting new people and trying new things. In my spare time, I also enjoy reading, cooking and baking, doing crafts and keeping busy.
I love bringing these interests into the time I spend with children, whether that’s getting outside for an adventure, baking something together, getting creative with crafts, reading a book or finding a new activity they’ll enjoy.
I’m naturally warm, caring, patient and reliable, and I really enjoy creating a safe and positive environment where children feel comfortable and confident being themselves. I also enjoy helping with the practical side of family life, including cooking, keeping things organised and supporting everyday routines.
I love nannying because it allows me to build genuine relationships with children and become a trusted part of their everyday lives. I really enjoy watching children grow in confidence, discover new things and have fun along the way!
My Experience
I have a range of experience that has given me lots of different skills when it comes to caring for children and supporting families.
I have spent the last 2 years working as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, supporting children across a range of ages and developmental stages. My role has given me a strong understanding of child development and developmental milestones, including how children develop their communication, fine and gross motor skills, emotional regulation, social skills, independence and everyday self-care abilities. I really enjoy getting to know each child individually and understanding their strengths, interests and areas where they may need a little extra support. This experience has taught me to be patient, adaptable and creative and to recognise that every child develops at their own pace.
I have also worked as a Little Cooks cooking teacher, where I planned and delivered fun cooking activities for children. I loved helping children build confidence, independence and practical skills while encouraging them to try new things. I really enjoy cooking and baking myself, so this is something I would love to bring into a nanny role.
I have also worked in a pet shop, giving me experience caring for animals and understanding the responsibility involved in looking after pets. If your family has pets, I would be more than happy to help care for them as part of my role.
Overall, my different experiences have given me a really broad range of skills. I’m confident caring for children, supporting their development and independence, helping with routines and everyday tasks, and becoming a reliable and caring part of family life.
My Qualifications
I have a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with Honours and am a qualified Paediatric Occupational Therapist. My training and professional experience have given me a strong understanding of child development and developmental milestones, including communication, sensory processing, emotional regulation, fine and gross motor skills, social development and independence with everyday activities.
I have experience working with children across a range of ages and developmental needs, and I am confident supporting children in a way that is encouraging, patient and tailored to their individual personalities and abilities.

My qualifications give me a strong understanding of how children learn and develop, while my practical experience allows me to support this through everyday activities, play, routines and opportunities to build confidence and independence.
