About Me

I am a kind and caring childcare professional with over 14 years of teaching experience. I am very perceptive and have experience with newborns up to teenagers. In one nanny role, I looked after three children under 5 years and I loved it. I am very nurturing and enthusiastic. I know the importance of getting children outside in nature, I ran the two school allotments and a lunchtime gardening club in my role as a teacher. I have a lot of sports experience and my own child horse rides, climbs and swims. I like to walk my dog, spend travel with my family, spend time outside and catch up with old friends.

My Experience

I am a Qualified Teacher (QTS) with 14 years of experience working with children, including extensive experience as a nanny in both London and Cambridgeshire. I have a strong track record of providing high-quality teaching and childcare, with my lessons receiving an ‘Outstanding’ rating from Ofsted during a school inspection. I have also received excellent reviews and feedback from the parents and families I have worked with, which I would be very happy to share. I have extensive experience supporting children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and EFL (English as a Foreign Language), and I have also successfully tutored children preparing for private school entrance examinations. I hold current First Aid and DBS certificates, demonstrating my commitment to children’s safety and wellbeing. Alongside my teaching and childcare experience, I am currently studying for an NPQ in Maths Leadership, further developing my expertise in mathematics teaching and educational leadership. I am passionate about helping children build confidence, develop their skills and reach their full potential, while creating a warm, engaging and supportive environment.
